I saw a method go by recently and tried it out today. You brayer a background, and stamp your image on top. Then you stamp your image on a piece of acetate and put it under your original image and rub on the second image. Just like magic you get two images and the bottom one looks like a reflection.
It probably looks better with water images, but a desert image is what was handy for me to use. The little lock I found in my stash says "Journey". I wish I knew someone going on a journey to give this to. I wish I was going on a journey, actually. I woke up this morning to spilled craft paint on the carpeting courtesy of my 9 year old son, along with other assorted chores that needed done sooner rather than later. I hate it when life bites me in the you know what. I am posting a lot later than I would like, but I am posting and today that is victory enough!

Yeah, I know. Been bitten there many times myself! I have survived 3 kids (now 44, 40, 37), and woke up many a morning to that and worse!! I love your card, and the reflection is wonderful. Hope your day has improved.

I saw that technique demonstrated at stamp club once upon a time, but never tried it myself. Have only done the reflection with the brayer and that can be tricky. I'll be trying this for sure. Love the alligator image reflected in the sand!! Cool idea!!
