This is for Jami's (sgtstamper) DTGD09 challenge where we revisited a challenge from 2005.
For me, this is a lot of embellishments, lol. Seems I always forget to use them. But I did use, the H2O's to embellish the dragonflies and also the bg layers. I added rhinestones to the branch, a dragonfly charm is attached w/ a rhinestone brad, and some ribbon across the bottom.
The top layers were die cut w/ a Spellbinders Label 3 nestie and my Out of the Box Nestie Technique and the layer behind the sentiment used a couple of the small ovals nesties (slightly off center).

The Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen/Dirty Dozen Alumni have been working really hard to put together 3 days of fantastic challenges. My friend and "roomie" on the Dirty Dozen, Jami (sgtstamper) asked me to make a sample for her challenge on Saturday, July 25. You'll need to visit the DTGD09 challenge for details on the challenge, and you'll need to be a Fan Club member to view it and join in. These great challenges are just one of the wonderful perks you receive for joining the Fan Club. The dragonflies were stamped and colored w/ Twinkling H2o's and cut out. I did a second one that I used to attach on top w/ foam tape for a little dimension. The layer they're on was cut w/ a Spellbinders Labels 3 set. I left the die on top after cutting/embossing and sponged on some lt blue ink. The layer under it was a leftover piece from another project that I painted some H2O's over the top.
The first blue layer was bugged w/ the Swiss Dots folder. The sentiment was cut out and attached to another piece of the painted bg c/s which was cut w/ the smallest Nestie ovals, just a little off center.Rhinestones were added to the branch, ribbon across the bottom and the dragonfly charm was attached w/ a rhinestone brad.

Just a lovely, lovely card. Love the colors and I am a big fan of dragonflies, not so much in real life but on paper and in jewelry. Please check out the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge by clicking on the link under my signature. We would be honored to have one of your lovely creations in our weekly challenge.
