I seldom do the featured stamper challenge because I am on a worship team at our church and with all the other challenges, that one usually slips by, but these fabric flowers made me think so much of Schirmcat-(Kelly) and I didn't get to play when she was the featured stamper a week ago.
I cased this card of Kellys: FS106, Julie's Hearts by schirmcat at Splitcoaststampers
which in itself is a case of this card of Julies: TECC50 - Heart Prints by juliemlacey at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the layout but changed the hearts to flowers. I used twine instead of ribbon.
I made this card for Sue: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
(Thanks Peggy for letting me know about Sue)
I left of the stamping step for the TLC230 because I wanted a more rustic-Americana look. I stapled the tops of the panels and faux stitched around the edges. (I had to send this one to a fellow stamper, becuase a non stamper might not understand the distressed edges or staples.)

Oh Marilynn this IS so ME! I love every little detail, the kraft, the dots, the sweet plaid fabric flowers, the buttons, the TWINE! I can't pull a fast one on you, you've got my stamping loves down pat! Thanks for the prayer link for Sue (bensarmom), hope she has a speedy recovery! HUGS to you all!
