Kelly, I love this card! You are such wonderfully fun stamper, and to case you was an honor!
I needed a very special card to honor a very special friend, Teddy. Once when Teddy's mom (Judy Kell) was not home, I delivered her SU order to the door. Teddy could not have been more accomodating! Lol- big bad watch dog! I gave him some lovin's and was on my way.
Teddy has gone over the rainbow bridge now, and Judy wrote this tribute to him in an email:
'We had some good times playing hide and seek when he was younger, he would make me laugh until my sides would hurt. He was brave, smart, and always so tolerant of all the cats in our family, he loved having beer with my Dad in the summer. He loved it when Steve would rub his tummy. When it was just him and me living in Sacramento, he enjoyed going out after dark to see what had caused any noise outside, ready to take on any intruders. Luckily, it was always a stray cat, possum or rat and a good barking would send them on their way. He was the only dog I ever knew that would bark at a jet flying over his territory at 30,000 ft.
As he got older his hearing was failing, but he was always really good at hand signals. I always thought he could have been a contender at the Hand Signal Dog Competitions. I may have been biased. Teddy was a really great dog, one of the best. We will miss him until we meet again, meanwhile, he is no longer in pain and a free spirit.'
The tree is hand drawn on the back side, and cut out and the tree leaves were made by tracing around a cloud template I rec'd from Deb- Purty Bratty Barbie.
The inside sentiment simply reads 'Grateful' and is from Warm Words. This really sums up Teddy's life- grateful to have a loving 'mom' (who got him via kidnapping' from a formerly bad owner!) and gave him a life worth living. And he sure gave it back too!
Thanks so much for looking, and meeting Teddy!

I love your card and the sincere, caring tribute to Teddy was so touching. I'm sure he's perfectly content to be lying under such a tree in heaven. Lovely, heartwarming story.

Pat, this is so wonderful. Thank you so much. I think this is so perfect for him. You really out did yourself and I think I hear Teddy with a 'woof' of appreciation and anticipation of that little dog bone in the corner.
We will meet again I am certain, and it will be as beautiful as this card is.
Thank you again, you have once again touched my heart with your kindness and understanding. LYMI IRL

Pat, this is such a loving and cute memorial tribute to Teddy. I was really touched by your story and to read Judy's tribute. It's always hard losing our four-footed faithful companions. Hugs to you and Judy.
