Sympathy card for my sweet friend May who lost her grandma last week. Sometimes I wish we never needed these. They are difficult, because you need to put heart into them. I feel like I have watched May grow up, we began working together for the State about 15 years ago, and she has become a precious friend.
The main image was stamped in brown Stazon and popped up on nesties. The beautiful sugared-looking little flower is from FancyStix Flowers 'Nursery Tales Collection' at Michael's, and the leaves were cut from some silk leaf ribbon I have had for years. I love the soft look of it.
Thanks for looking.

May is lucky to have such a caring friend/co-worker.

I know precisely what you mean when you say that sympathy cards are the most difficult to make - I've had so many to make this past while...but this is just beautiful - the embossed background is wonderful. This will be deeply appreciated...

Pat, you are a "natural" at sympathy cards. Not that it's good to need them, but what a gift to those who receive them. This is breathtakingly beautiful and comforting!!! Me thinks this one is going into my favs too!!! TFS!

Pat, I know what you mean, but how special that we can minister to others that are hurting through pouring our hearts into a card...yours is so beautiful. I love the green silk ribbon leaves too.

Another beauty Pat! I think God is putting you in a lot of strategic places where you are needed lately! You are such an encourager! You, of course, are also incorrigible!
