My DH came home yesterday after a month at sea, my DS went to preschool, and I'm going to Mothermark's Tuesday Tea Party. The details and inspiration can be found here: Teapot Tuesday #55 by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
This week it's potluck at the tea party, and since I don't have any cooking cats, I had to improvise. Does soup belong at a tea party? Maybe I should have brought some fruit, or cupcakes....
Thanks for the great challenge, Cindy, and thank you all for looking!!!

DARLA!!! Oh my goodness! This just looks like a bowl of love sistah! Fresh colors, yummy ribbon, and sweet DP's. I love this card. Love how the brads bring out the color in the soup bowl. Yummy.

Lovely soup! I love soup at a teapot party because it is very cold here this morning and by the time I get there, I'll need some warm comforting soup. Did you make it? Nothing like homemade soup now.
Beautiful card Darla, I love seeing you in the gallery, especially after a nice chat with you. Always good to keep in touch with sweet girlfriends huh! Have a good time camping. But for now must get ready for the party. TFS

Hey guys! Darla made it! She tried so hard to make it last week but had traveling issues....sorta like us this week! Giggle! Soup? Of course! Soup seems to be the word of the day and if we run out of tea, we can start filling our cups with soup, the tea potters won't know! They drink anything! Snort!
I am so happy you were able to come this week and bring this cutest little card. Now you being a first timer and all, don't let the cats with their attitude, the tea potters with their rowdy-tude and the back door entrances skeer you off! Before long, you will be fitting right in and I will have to hire someone to keep an eye on you too just like I do the others!
Your card is precious. I love, love, love the steam....perfectly done! And the colors? The are so tea-potty! Not that kinda potty, you know what I mean!!!!

Darla, I love your souper soup card. I love the yellow checks and the checked red ribbon. Hot soup sounds good to me. I love soup. My dh and kids will eat it but it isn't their favorites. Glad you could make it to the teaparty today.

Did Cindy not say we were staying on for dinner after tea - so soup will be perfect for the first course. Especially such lovely looking soup so beautifully served. At least your soup is likely to have some reliable ingredients in it, while Charlene's may be slightly suspect with all those cats stirring the pot.

Homemade soup! My favorite! Love the colors and patterns you chose to highlight your culinary fete. I don't think cats like hot things so we don't have to worry about visitors.

YAAAAAAY!!!! Darla's here, everyone! Woo-hoo!
Darla, I think it's no coincidence that your lovely soup card is located next to my CAT-erers cooking up the soupe du jour today. I think we'll make a great collaborative team for sure!
Your card is absolutely darling! I love the yellow-checked bg and gingham ribbon. So cute!
Now, come on over here, gf, and lemme introduce you to some of the rowdy gals.......
