Hi! Well, I was working on this challenging sketch from MMSC8 and was not really going for a Christmas card, but I do kind of think that is what I ended up with. I guess it could be an all occasion card, but I am leaning towards this one being for the holidays. I incorporated some wood into this card because I am really loving the look and feel that it adds to the card.
I went for a touch of vintage as well as elegance with this sketch. Most of my cards seem to lean towards being either cutsey and girly or elegant and classy. I do need to try to make a conscious effort to try new and different things. For now, enjoy Christmas in July!

I absolutely love Christmas in July. The sales, the new Christmas decor items, and the craft shows. So, I celebrate your card. It is marvelous. There is nothing not to like about this one. I plan on joining you soon with my creation. TFS

Wow, Carolyn, this is fantastic. I LOVE the incorporation of the wood, yet the overall elegance of this beautiful card. I love the flowers, the image, the ef b/g, the leaves, gold pearls and the gold doiley just tops it off!! Great job! TFS!
