I know you're thinking, how on earth did I get this card from this upload of Christy's??? I needed a prayer card for my Pastor as he his having health issues and I liked the layout of Christy's card as it gave one large space for the folded hands and one rectangular for the sentiment and a place for 2 embellishments, or in my case, 3. So, even though I changed the theme, it's still based on her card.
I changed the paper, embellishments, image, sentiment, added a decorative punch and some twine.
The paper I used is called leather. It looks just like leather, but you may not be able to tell that so much from photo. I actually tore some paper too!!
Thanks so much for looking and if you have a chance, let me know what you think!!! Thanks so much and enjoy your week Christy!!!

Beautifully done Pam!! Such a lovely image, and if I may so , one that reminds me so much of my dear late grandma! She always kept a picture like this at her bedside! It's just lovely and classic!! Love your border and the beautiful verse!
I think I love it. It could easily be used for encouragement or sympathy. Love the use of colors and just the right amount of embellishment. I'm sure it lifted your Pastor's spirits. We often forget that they need our word of encouragement also.
I love this card, great job. I love the praying hand stamp, it can be used in so many ways, I have used it for confirmation cards, sympathy, get well and love it. Can I ask where you got the rope border punch from, I have never seen it and now I really want it!

Love that border punch. Perfect for this card. Great use of twine, brads and corner punch too. You are becoming a pro at masculine cards I'm sure your Pastor will be encouraged -- well done on the encouragement for him, it's a tough job.

Just beuatiful, Pam. What a wonderfully warm and sensitive card for your Pastor. I love that punched border; it's perfect with that leather like paper and hand image. I'm confident He'll love it too.

Pam, your case is wonderful! I smiled when you said 'torn' paper, and thought of Linda right away- and I see that is the first thing she noticed! Lol. Beautiful and touching card. Love the black framing. brads and photo corner. A real stand out! TFS
