I kept the same basic color scheme, but it was the white stitching on the brown leather that spoke to me. I was also inspired by a card I fell in love with by sumtoy found here:

I used the soft suede paper and sanded it then crinkled it to make it look and feel like leather or suede, I used a scoring tool down the center both vertically and horizontally, I then used my paper piercing tool and a white gel pen along the score to create the faux stitching.

WOW! I never would have guessed that stitching was FAUX - you made it look REAL (and FAB!). It looks like you are stitching on real leather too - VERY well done!
