This card was made for my S-I-L's family on the passing of my niece (she was only 20). It has been one of the hardest cards I have had to make and it has taken me the longest too, because I wanted to get it just right.
I stamped the Cross and Blossoms onto White CS with Vintage Sepia Versafine ink and let it dry completely. I then trimmed it close, & swiped the edges with Vintage Sepia ink. Next, I coloured it with the chalks/pastels and the q-tips. The q-tips I used had two different ends, one with a point and the other more rounded, this made it easier for me to colour the more delicate/finer areas of this image.
I stamped 'With Sympathy' onto the vellum with the StazOn Timber Brown ink and dried it with my heat gun (embossing tool).
To make up the card, I adhered the Mulberry DSP to the White base card and then sponged the edges with Vintage Sepia ink. Next, I adhered the vellum piece at an angle, across the bottom RHS. Then, I adhered the focal piece at the top LHS.
TFL and sharing in this difficult moment.

My sympathy to your family at this time. Your card is lovely, but your kindness to your sister's family will last forever.
I saw this stamp and wondered how to color it. You did a lovely job.

I'm so sorry for your Family's loss.
I will pray for you all.
I know what you mean about having to make a card.
It is a hard one to do. How ever you did do a great
job on it and I know it will help your sister and her
family to get it. And sorry for your loss.

Beautiful. I have this stamp and use it at Easter. Never thought to use it as a sympathy card. Thanks for the idea.
So sorry to hear of your loss. You are in our prayers.
