Wanna come to a Japanese tea party? Its BYOT (bring your own tea) or you may find yourself drinking tea from the "BUTT UGLY" Teapot. Just follow me to Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday Tea Party: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/searc...uesday%20Cards
Yes, I was stumped with this one at first Cindy. I slept on it and went with the colors #pink and blue, white# and the sketch as my inspiration.
I used the font: KanjiWords Black A-G from Scrapnfonts.com for my sentiment. Keeping with the Japanese theme.
I can't wait to see what everyone else did from this inspiration. What kind of treats are we having? I personally love salmon and sticky rice. Yum. So, I guess I will bring some.

What a pretty card. You did so good Lisa. Love your crinkled flower too. You can come sit with me, I have tons of Sushi, oh and that blue seat in the back, that's just Violet, she's having a nap, you can sit on her, she won't mind. LOL
If you're looking for the sake, I think Linda's little kids went off with it and Gertie! LOL

Hi Lisa! What a great card you made! I love the colors, papers and technique you used! It's just perfect! And no *backsides*, so you can come in the front door! I think the tea is gone so I'm about to start in on the sake! And sushi is my favorite, too! Some of the party-goers are getting a little wild, that's for sure! I hope I get to eat some sushi not just have it flung at me!!

Just beautiful, Lisa!!! I love the sponging you did behind the flower. And what a great flower!! I really like how you used the three brads for the center. Oh, and you used your sewing machine! It goes alot quicker than the hand stitching you usually do, I'm sure! Love the Japanese tags!! Great card!!

Hey Lisa!! You're here! I feel like I should make a recording of this but I need to give you my disclaimer! Since I have been waiting for all you tea partiers to arrive on the terrace, this is what I have learned:
WHATEVER you do, DON'T step foot in the big circle right there. See that big circle? Cuz if you do, that big fat quy in the diaper will push you out, almost as soon as you step in and some times its sorta violent! He might be our host today but his has an attitude as big as his belly! Shhh! Here he comes!!
What a great card this! I love the sewing, the crinkled flowers and of course the Japanese flair! Since you came in the front door, you probably aren't quite aware of what is going on with the treats you are wondering about! Slimmy sushi all over the place which actually was pretty cool and inspired a whole new activity (sliping and sliding on slimmy sushi in the big circle!) once the big fat ole Sumo guy settled down! It won't be long before you are up in the swing of things! Giggle!
Thanks so much for coming! Your card is awesome, like they always are!

Oh this is so pretty! I love how you used that Basic Grey paper and your cute little lanterny tags! Hmmm I really love shumai...those are crab dumplings...now that Charlene brought all that sak-I-mean-tea...the other guests are all lit up like lanterns, so we can eat all the snacks ourselves! I, too, made a pretty card so I didn't have to squash into the back door, so let's steal them off the table and go eat out on the front porch, hee!

I absolutely love the colors in this card. You did such a wonderful job with it. Those flowers are such great accidents. Gonna have to give that a try.
