Sometimes I do a technique and I love it right away and other times I say that was interesting. Never again!!! Today was the latter. I had such a hardtime with this. I think my paint was getting too old and I didn't have the right kind of toilet paper. I spent too long to not upload it.

My gosh! You had a day like mine. HA. Mine is - interesting - too. I happen to really LIKE yours. The torn paper is great and the butterfly really adds.

I'm glad you uploaded. It might not look as textured as some of the other papers, but I can tell you it looks like some some of the lovely papers in the Clairefontaine Papers of the World pads I buy and hoard. In my orange and yellow pad there is something very like this. My finger is still sore this morning from trying to get more paper into my paint - and that was before I tried some different tissues which weren't any better. Fab ribbon too - I think I have the same one in a couple of different colours, but I don't think I've seen that great orange.

OMG it's gorgeous no matter how you felt about the technique! Love the colors. Just rememer the Scott Adams quote (creator of Dilbert): Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. This is definitely a keeper.
Beautiful. I know what you mean about the kind of toilet paper you use making a difference. I first used the cheap stuff from my bathroom, and it wouldn't break up very well. So I used some of my husband's fluffy TP (I make him buy his own), and it did much better.

Sorry you didn't like doing the technique, but the results are gorgeous!
