This is for this past Monday's technique challenge to make a hinged card.
I stamped the mortarboards in Versafine Black and then watercolored them with my Pretty in Pink reinker and watercolor brush. A black marker finished off the the tiny center piece on top of the cap that holds the tassle in place. Speaking of tassle, I used pink grosgrain ribbon to make a tassle for this little graduate's card by fraying the ribbon, knotting it at the end, and then wrapping it around the letter B brad before securing the brad into place.
Stamps: Little Layers, Amazing to Zany, H&M Stamps (Congrats stamped in bg with mortarboards), A-Z and 1, 2, 3 (There She Goes alphabet for Brooke's name)
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Black
Ink: Versafine Black, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: oval Nestabilities, black initial brad, pink brads, star punches, frayed ribbon, lace border punch, watercolor brush
