Finally, DH made paid my bail. So I guess I will be fixing dinner tonight. But first I wanted to do a proper CASE of one more of Mercy's wonderful cards. I chose this one. ..........details.......
I changed from her flowers to a scene. Changed the ribbon knot to a bow and only one button embellishment. I kept the layout the same but changed the colors.
I stamped my url=http://www.newcleardollarstamps.com/servlet/StoreFront] Clear Dollar Stamp [/url]horses, which are new this month, clear eb'ing them. This scene was put on white cs that I had gessoed. All coloring was done with re-inkers and water.
I did add a little to the fence, plus I put a barn and tree behind. Every horse needs a bard don't you think? Plus it goes better with the title of the card.
Layered this with white cs that I ran threw the cb using some screen I have on the bird cage so they can't get out. I learned this from Julie, justwritedesigns, only she used that plastic stuff that you cross stitch on. Anyway, if you look around the possibilities are endless of what you can emboss with. Sponged edges.
Put some really purple misc dp on a white cs that I sponged the edges on. Added the ribbon and bow and heart.......wal-la.
Well, hope you like this........I am of to the kitchen to whip up some grub!..............TFL :0)

Oh I am so glad you are home now and not surprised the first thing you do is make a card. I just love this charming homey scene Cathy. Hi. What's for dinner?

Wonderful card. Fabulous coloring. Welcome home. Thanks for sharing the idea of the screen for bugging. I have some of the plastic stuff in my cross stitch stash. I'll have to give this a try.
