Good morning everyone!! This month's challenge theme for the DD/DDA is water and the challenge focus is to create a project that has something to do with water. The required element is watercoloring and the restriction is to use only 2 embellishments...yikes!!!
I decided to use this gorgeous stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs called Foot Prints in the Sand. The image was stamped on different shades of Prism Paper three times. The top two layers were cutout with Nesties to line up with the bottom layer so the entire image can be read as if there were no layers...I hope that makes sense!! The foot prints and the water at the top were watercolored with Tempting Turquoise.
The Rubbernecker Shells were stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa onto the Prism papers and
my two embellishments are the May Arts Ribbon and the brown pearls. TFL and have a great day!!!

WOW!!!! Absolutely gorgeous card, Joan! I love the optical illusion you created with the 3 layers-same image. Also the layered shells and beautiful pearl accents. And using brown ink was perfect!!!

Oh Joan..this is absolutely lovely...from the vellum words overlaying the other layers...oh it has a real ocean lapping at the beach feel. Gorgeous shells too!
