This week's IC is to draw inspiration from prom dresses on the Faviana website. I chose dress style 6407 which is so flirty and fun. I know it will be a great dress to dance the night away! Please take a peek here:
Yikes no stamping on this one!!! I will of course remedy that dilemna by placing an inside message. I mimicked the flirty dress skirt pleats by using a crimper on apiece of gifted DSP. I wanted to depict music for a prom theme so I cuttlebugged a music bar from an A2 embossing folder. The sentiment is also a cuttlebug embossed. The card is finished off using satin ribbon and patent leather dots.
This card will be gifted to my DDIL and DS for their 7th anniversary. It's traditional, each year, to to design a black and white card for them. Inside will be a gift card to a classy restaurant - I know they will enjoy dancing the night away and celebrating!
Thanx for looking!

ohhhhh lucky you to have a DIL, I am coming to your BIG state on Wednesday to see my DD and DS! But I will be far away from you up in Humbolt County! Now about your card Chris, it is beautiful and elegant, and what a loving tradition you have created for your family. I especially like how you used your embossing on this....
