We are very lucky to have Grandparents that live locally and are very active in our children's lives. So, for Mother's Day, I thought I would decorate a little keepsake box for Grandma that she can use to store those little treasured pieces of artwork she will undoubtedly receive over the years.
I started with a Martha Stewart paper storage (12x12) box from Michael's and printed the poem (which I found online) onto SU! Shimmery White paper. I layered it onto SU! Soft Sky, and then embellished with a variety of paper flowers, brads, buttons, etc. Hopefully the Scor-Tape and glue dots I used will hold for a good while. Happy Mother's Day!
Thanks for looking!

I saw "The Grandmother's Pledge" used for this project in one of the many catalogs I receive... I don't believe that credit was given to a particular author in the text of the catalog, and I'm sorry to say that I don't remember exactly which one (but I wasn't going to purchase a personalized, framed, creation from the catalog when I could craft one up myself!) ;) It fits us perfectly!
