I hope to be back with another card for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge using a Flourishes stamp, but in the meantime Cindy's great sketch was perfect for making a thank-you card for my half-sister using some of the chiyogami paper she sent me. As the gold cord has been in my box since Christmas 04 (when I used all the silver), it's something old for the CCEE challenge too .
It's an A5 base with a first layer of dark green Bazzill. Then some brown DCWV Old World stack paper. The little squares are some gorgeous Japanese Chiyogami paper (my guess is from Michaels, as everything was just wrapped in a Michaels bag). It inspired me to use a fan for the main image, stamped and embossed with gold on a scrap of DCWV paper. The sentiment was stamped and embossed with gold on green. I stuck a strip of thin red-line tape across the bottom, added gold cord along the top and bottom, and then brushed dark blue glitter (also pretty old!!) in between. Some gold Dew Drops, and that was it. All layers were edged with a gold pen, except the squares which were layered up on gold card.
Loved the sketch.

Wonderful color combination, Sabrina!!! The gold embossing just makes the colors pop and look so regal!!!! Beautifully done!!! Thanks so much for playing FTTC!!!!
So pretty! I have a fan stamp that I have never used...(not the only one, mind you....) and some paper I got as a gift. You have inspired me! TFS
