This birthday card was made a week ago, but I didn't show it earlier, because it was still on its way to the birthday girl. For my card I followed an old sketch from the friday sketchers, but because my card was supposed to be a surprise, I didn't participate in that challenge then. On my card I used the cute Magnolia stamp: Tilda with tulips. I had to have this stamp because I am Dutch ;) I colored Tilda with derwent pencils. The dots on her cheeks wer made with a white gelpen. For the eyes I used two hotfix stones. I cut Tilda out and let her sit on the edge of the ovals that I cut with my nestabilities. The purple background was printed on my card. I used a white grosgrain ribbon and added 3 black hotfix stones. The swirl was cut with the silhouette. On the swirl I used the hotfix stones again. The sentiment was made with the computer. I cut it out and made the faux stitching with a purple fineliner.
