This is my card for the technique challenge. I didn't have any gesso, so I Googled and found an alternative to make myself - with white glue, water and talc. I think I may have put too many layers on - you can barely see the print underneath.

I think anyone who tries at all gets top marks.
And anyone who tries and makes a gorgeous card like this gets a gold star too. I love the arrangement of the flowers, leaves and swirls. And of course the colour, but it's the compostion of the flower arrangement that really strikes me.

Wonderful card. I love how you made your own Gesso - if I can't find my bottle somewhere I might have to do the same. I love the effect you got with the green ink in the background!!
