DH's calligraphy club put out a call for Mother's Day cards for the women's shelter. I wanted to make several, so I reached into my unfinished card tops that I put together from scraps last summer. They were backgrounds waiting for images and finishing touches. I didn't go all out since I need to make so many in a hurry, but thought they turned out nicely. It actually took more time to upload than it did to finish these cards. Plus, I got my scraps used up last summer so it's thrifty and green too! This pink scrap was the border from a poster I was throwing away. Even so, Mom would be proud! She's the one that taught me be thrifty and to make do with what I had.
