Today is a healthy affair at mothermark's Teapot Tuesday Challenge tea party:http://mothermark.blogspot.com/searc...uesday%20Cards. I brought a fragrant flower. I think that counts. However I could not find a butterfly to pose for my photo, I think they are all tired from the past few challenges.
I was inspired to use my nestability as a stencil like Jeanne S:Mmmm..... Cupcakes!!! by Jeanne S at Splitcoaststampers. Thanks Jeanne for your great example.
Cindy, you always bring me out of my comfort zone to try something new. This card probably doesn't look much like the cards I make on my own. Well I made this on my own, no help, no cheating. LOL I just mean I tried new things as I was inspired by the your cabbage teapot. I think that is a good thing. But I'm not ecstatic over the result. TFL

Well, you do out of your comfort zone really, really well! I love how the teapots inspire you! Your cards are always wonderful.....and you most definately aced this challenge cuz its all about checking out the teapot and being inspired any direction at all!
I love the look of your card and the black and white ribbon just sets it off beautifully. We do seem to be running low on butterflies these days! But Kellie has her bunnies running around searching for some cabbage to munch on so we may have moved on to a different species!
So glad you came and so glad you are trying new things! Its awesome! I learned something new from your post and from Jeanne! Never even thought of using a nestie as a stencil! Awesome idear!!!!

Your card is beautiful. I love how you added so much texture to it. I'm glad that you brought a fragrant flower to this tea party with all that cabbage there!

So glad to see you at the party. Love your fragrant flower. Is it edible? Your black and white ribbon just pops. I love your choice of cb folders for the green panel. It looks so cabbage like. Wonderful job my friend. Love it! TFS :0)

Hey Lisa, you made it! What a pretty card!! Those flowers are gorgeous! I love how you added the brad to them. I've seen the nesties used as stencils, but haven't tried it yet. It looks really nice!! It is fun trying different things... and sometimes it really is challenging! I like the way you layered the nesties offset like that. Such pretty papers/textures too! I think you did great with your card! And I agree, there seem to be butterflies everywhere lately!!

Well, Kelly said my cabbage leaves reminded her of a green zebra - so on your card he's obviously come clean and washed all the green off! I love your stamped floral panel - with the stencilling inside the frame of the Nestability, it totally reminds me of a lovely china plate. Maybe not what we need for handing cookies around on today - but next week. Love that brad, too, it's simply gorgeous. And is that faux stitching? If my faux looked that good I wouldn't need to bother with the real.

Beautiful card Lisa. I love the embossed green panel. What I noticed first about your card was the beautiful ribbon followed by the faux stitching. Glad you came to the teaparty again.

This is so pretty, Lisa! Love the layout and the pretty blossom! The ribbon is a great addition! We are all enjoying the healthy snacks at this week's tea party, but I'm thinking we'll be back to the sweets soon!
