This card was made by my 10 year old daughter Maddy, (soon to be 11) who normally does her own description but is too tired today after finishing school for this term. Maddy is emotionally drained as well as one of her close friends left school today and is headed for England - it is always hard to say goodbye to friends....I am sure that her friend Jack will be the recipient of many cards in the future!!!
Madyd and I cased the same card, (I will put in the details later, when I find where the book has been put) it was fun working together but doing our own thing as well. The ribbon was recycled from a gift...recycling runs in our family!!! Maddy had her first attempt at paper piercing and also cutting the rose out - not too bad!!! This is her first official 'casing' of a card...this girl is going places!!!
Thank you for looking and it would encourage Maddy so much (especially when her little heart is so-o-o sad) if you would leave her an encouraging comment!!! Thank you!!

Oh Maddy! Girl, this is gorgeous! Your paper piercing is perfect, and I love the rose cutout. The colors are lovely and great job on the recycle lil sistah! Your work is a delight to see Maddy, I know your mum must be proud. I am so glad you are back on line. Can't wait to see more! Hope your birthday is great, (and that you get tons of new stamping stuff all your own!) Thanks for sharing your beautiful work. Love you, Aunt Patti XXXOOO

Oh my aunt giddy, Maddy, this is just amazing, girl! I love how you pierced your top panel and then even added some color to your edges. I can never do that right, but you've certainly given me some inspiration to learn. This is such a great card!
