What a fun project today. I must say I had a bit of a head start. I made these flowers several years ago. They have been collecting dusk quite well. So, I washed them off and put them on my flower pot pocket card.....details......
I first made my flower pot out of white cs that I painted on the black squares, doodled on the white squares and sponged the rest with terra cotta. I also painted the stripes and did the same as the top part.
The flowers were made from a couple of Coors Light twist off bottle caps....drilled a few holes, added some paint and Wal-la...a flower. Oh yeah, drill holes before drinking beer. Might be a little safer. LOL My aunt used to make these. I took one of hers, I mean I borrowed one of hers, took it home, dissected it a little and them made my version of it. Don't you think they make a cool flower?
I punched out a leaf looking flower, sponged it green and doodled on it for the leaf bg under the flowers. I also punched out some leaves using MS punch. Sponged color and doodled on them. All this was put on the pocket part of the card.
Added a gingham ribbon to my pot. Fought with the bow and finally just gave up. Well, hope you like my little flower pot pocket card with the beer bottle cap flowers..........TFL :0)
