Oh my, that was so much fun. Today's challenge was to use your iron to make a card... I shaved a bunch of broken crayons on to some very vanilla cardstock and sandwiched it with another. Since I seem to be out of wax paper... I folded parchment paper over my crayon sandwich and pressed them together with a hot iron. (first time i've used that old thing in months!) when I pulled them apart I was left with a huge gloppy mess. So when the wax cooled I scraped both sheets with one on those scrapers that comes with a pampered chef baking stone. Then I versa marked with En Francais and heat embossed it in gold. I also edged the card and mat with a gold stamp pad. This is what I came up with. What do you think? TFL

I think that's a great save if it was really a gloopy mess! Fantastic rich colours and the script overstamping gives it a really classy look, great job!

How rich and luxurious and gorgeous looking. Very impressive indeed.
I am just curious to know did the heat embossing not affect your wax background at all?
