He's Back!!! Charlie the Church Mouse loved the tea party at Cindy's house so much it was all he could squeak about since last week! In fact he insisted that I let him come along when he found out that Cindy had a new pin cushion, or in mouse language a bouncin' good trampoline!!!
Well he squeaked loud enough his little cousins, Charlene and Roy heard him too and begged to be included in the party fun. To their dismay Cindy said she didn't think playing with a pin cushion would be a good idea because of all the brightly topped pins that one would put in a pin cushion. This just about broke Charlie's, Charlene's and Roy's hearts. Not play with a pin chushion??? Who ever heard of such a thing.
So Charlie and Roy carried along their favorite pin chushion to give Cindy and all the tea party guests a proper lesson in pin cushion play. But much to Charlie's chagrin, the tea party attendees could not participate. One bounce by any of them on that pin cushion would have squashed it flat.
So Charlie, Charlene and Roy enjoyed themselves immensely by bouncin over and over again on their special pin cushion. (Cindy kept her new one well out of the way for fear of getting too much mouse hair on it. That stuff can be the dickens to clean up!) But even though Cindy kept her new pin cushion well out of the way, she graciously provided the sweet little church mouse and his cousins with thimbles in which they could rest quite comfortably.
Charlie wanted me to convey a special message to Cindy. "Squeak, squeeeak, squeak, squeak. Squeakkkk sqqqueak, squeak!" Which to the best of my knowledge of mouse means, "Thanks Cindy for a bouncin good time!!!"

Keeping his friends in check while having some good clean fun! Hey, if you are gonna be a pin cushion bouncing sorta fellow, best do it at a tea party! Giggle!
Your card is just precious Lois! I love, love, love that you made your little window with a peek inside the house to show Charlie and his buddies! How creative and fun!

What a perfect image! Gotta love those flowers. Not only do I have to watch for hidden pins but now I have to watch for mice as well! They do seem to be fun loving mice though and fun is what this party is all about.

Oh how sweet Lois, look at that Charlie go, I'm a bit worried about Charlene and Roy but you know mice...they can get in and out of pretty anywhere. LOL
Love your pin cushion and your little house window. I was imagining the surprise I would get if I saw this IRL. Either I would have to be pretty small or the mouse pretty big...oooh that's scary.
I love your flowers too. TFS And did you find any whip cream at all here this week, I still had strawberries in my pockets from last week. Shhhh, don't tell anyone okay, especially not Charlie.

WOW!! This card is just awesome!! I am very impressed that you had a PINCUSHION stamp this week... I couldn't even find a house, coffee cup, or teapot. I never thought to even look for a pincushion! Maybe because I know I don't have one...
This card is just great!! Love the mice through the window, the "siding" on your house, and those absolutely precious little flowers in the window box!!
There are some very awesome cards at the teaparty this week... I think I'm just going to go hide in the corner and not cause any trouble this week!
