The challenge is to use flowers or bulbs in our creation and also the Soft Subtle colors. My first card didnÂ’t have a lot of color so I wanted to do a second with more spring colors.
Thanks for the challenge Cindy!
-Image is stamped on 80% glossy paper with VersaMark, heat embossed with gold and colored with artist brush and reinkers.
-The background image is inked up with VersaMark first, then Pretty in Pink (classic) using a brayer to apply the ink and heat embossed with clear powder. Using the VersaMark this way always let you have the right color ink for embossing even if itÂ’s water based ink.
-Pearls are attached with Diamond Glaze.
-The border of blue with the dots embossing is just two strips cut and glued to the card. To glue over the embossed area I use Diamond Glaze.
- -My out of the box images are cut this way: I hold the image panel to a light source and make a mark on the backside to show the image location which will be in my line of cutting. I cut to the image on the front with my paper cutter, flip it over and cut to the mark on the back then cut out the image with scissors. I have a guillotine style cutter.
When cutting between images I use a straight line Coluzzle template and craft knife.
I purchased the tulip at a stamp resale event.
The backgrounder image can be found at Cornish Heritage Farms.
