Picture it: Sicily, 1942. (or, you know, Birmingham, 2009). I just finished spending an hour at the after-hours doc-in-a-box and am now at Walgreens waiting for my prescription. So I wander over to the card section and promptly fall over from laughing at this card (the inside sentiment: "I mean, what is wrong with these people?"). So much so that I take my DH back that weekend to "visit" it, and he mentioned I could probably make it myself. So I did.
I stamped the sheep on the card base and then stamped them onto white paper and cut each one out using a fingertip craft knife. Yes, all 29 of them. I then started gluing them down, overlapping some and popdotting some others. I drew the bowtie onto the dotted paper and cut it out to put on the "funny" one, who is also super-popdotted.
The sentiment I printed using GF Halda font. I printed it onto the dotted card stock and onto the white card stock. I cut each word out of the white card stock and inked the edges using memento cantaloupe.
Hope you enjoy the laugh!
