This week's teapot was not actually a teapot but a cookie jar. Cindy's challenge seen here: This is a test! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
was on Tuesday. I was home sick with the flu and was late getting to the party. When I made my card last night, my kids said I think mom is feeling better. It had been over a week since I had made a card because I was feeling so ill.
This card had a lot of thought that went into it, because laying in bed and thinking was all I could do.
The first challenge that I missed out on was WT209 going green. The basket on my card is my answer to that challenge. It was not green in color, but definitely recycled. Can you guess what it was made out of? Toilet paper rolls. My berries were also good for that challenge, because they were made out of magazines. I cut the berries out of several different red backgrounds and added yellow paint. The tops of the berries were punched out of a magazine with my flower punch.
Since Cindy has banned whipped cream with these berries. I think I'll have to bring a fondue pot filled with CHOCOLATE. We can all have dipped berries.
I am late making it to the party, but you are welcome to come late with me. Here is the gallery if you want to come. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Okay Marilyn! I feel better seeing you. I have been thinking..did she tell me that she was going out of town? I didn't think you had! I am so sorry you have been sick but so happy you still made it to the tea party! Wow, that was a week you would rather not experience huh!
Your card is da bomb! What a great little basket of berries...and I like your idea about the chocolate! Yummy, yummy and after the chocolate dip, we can run to the back door and do a little dip o' whipped cream! Its at the party, just came through the back door!
I feel like the tea party is complete except for that silly Kelly. She should be around somewhere....
Thanks for the link. Your card is creative and fun, like they always are! Loving it! Hang in there, get better!

So glad you are feeling better! I really missed you at the tea party. Your basket is so creative plus it looks so cute. Don't eat too many of those beautiful strawberries and get sick again. You know how some of those mice looked after too much indulgence.

Your basket is just great, looks so rustic and delightful, but those strawberries - yum. The dimension you gave them is just great, and the yellow paint - inspired!! Glad you were starting to feel well again in time to make the party.
