Simplicity is the name of the stamp, so that is why that is the title. Couldn't think of anything else. LOL This sketch was a fun and quick one today. Thank goodness. Since the weather is warming up, work is taking a little longer each day. Ugh!........on to the card.....
Pretty much everything here is right out of my scrap drawer. Only thing new is the stamped imaged. Which I clear eb and colored with copics.
Then I tried the new Wednesday tutorial creating texture with alcohol ink based markers. I tried to make the vase look like it had those clear stones in the bottom. Hopefully that is what it looks like to you.
Anyway, sponged each panel before gluing them on. Sponged and doodled edges of main panel. Put my image on popping up the top part. Added a few dots for fun. Hope you like it. Now I MUST get my tax info together or else no more cards until I do! Yikes!............TFL :0)

Love your card, Cathy! The colors are so bright and vivid and the image is so pretty! Love how you cut around it! Wonderful sponging and doodling!
BTW - the golf set I used on mine is an real oldie from Stampin' Up. I got it on EBay. I think it is from 1997 - it doesn't even have a wood block, just foam!

Wow, nutmeg, simplicity is a new concept for you, I'm thinking. I do believe this might be the very first vase I've seen coming from your studio, too. Well now, girl, you're mighty versatile, that's all I can say. Very colorful with those panels and a great vase, too. Thanks so much for calling yesterday. I've got your number now! Watch out. Yup, it's always great isnt it when you can connect a voice with an avatar. How's your old bag of a sister today?

Oh Cathy... I've been away and missed all your great creations! Now this vase is great... simplicity or no... I do love the little stones in the bottom. I love the dp.... at first I figured you hand pieced all those horizontal strips of color in each panel!!! I'm so glad you didn't.... you'd never get those taxes done! So... see ya when you're done gf!
