The Flourishes blog has a Timeless Tuesday challenge each week and the challenge was to use vellum on your card. I had a card in my mind and went looking for my pink, blue, and yellow vellum.
I pulled out my Sizzix embossing folder and used it to emboss a pink and blue flower as well as green leaves and gold flower center. I had the idea to make the white embossed cardstock the center image and the pink and blue flowers as an added element. When I put the white cardstock and pink and blue flower on an invitation size card they didn't all fit so I decided to use a 5 x 7 card instead. I found some mulberry paper and decided to add a layer under the white embossed layer. When I put the layers on the white card it still needed something so I decided to try embossing a background gold vellum using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I pulled out a border punch and added a layer at the bottom. Added my ribbon so it would have some bling.
