This is for FS110... Congragulations Stacy on your fabulous gallery and being chosen to be this week's FS !!! You so deserve it girl!!!
I know that Stacy loves House Mouse.. and so do I - so choosing a card was quite easy!!
I made this card for a friend of mine here on SCS who's husband works on an oil rig off of Newfoundland, and this week, a helicopter carrying 18 workers to the oil rig was lost at sea. While my friend did not lose her husband in this tragedy, her husband lost friends, and the tragic event has shaken up the whole of Canada - and I do share in her sorrow. Darla, this card is for you and your dh and son.
and I used a different house mouse image, but kept pretty much the same layout and added piercing, but subtracted the ribbon that Stacy used. I sponged the white of the card in bashful blue.. and used copics with momento ink.
Again - congrats Stacy!!! and hugs Darla!
Thanks for looking!!

What a lovely card and such sad circumstances. It affects so many people when so many are lost at once, their workmates will never forget it. Deepest sympathies to Darla and her family.

Hey Wanna b detective, so glad to see you in Stacy's FS gallery. Wow, you and Stacy have much in common: both great artists and lovers of HM! I've never seen this hm image before, but it's really sweet and so appropriate for sending hugs to a special SCSer. Darla will so appreciate your thoughtfulness, Wanna B Detective.

Adorable HM image, Deborah. I'm sure Darla's DH and son will apprieciate this card. What a tragedy for all those lost at sea and for the families and friends.

Debzi, I love this sweet, thoughtful card. It is so perfect and I really like the coloring, so soft and subtle. What tragic accident and a memory the other workers and families will never forget, as well as the ones who lost their loved ones. Makes me think of the country song, "Life can change in a minute".
