This is my card for today's Limited Supply Challenge where the requirements were:
-Make your OWN patterned/designer paper
-Use only ONE stamp set for your entire creation and make a card that features the patterned paper you made yourself using the images from the stamp set you select
-Sentiments, if any, must also come from the same ONE stamp set
-Punches or Nesties can only be used as part of your sentiment. Handcut images are fine.
-The only embellishments you can use are ribbon and brads. NO Cuttlebugging or texture plates.
Wow! Talk about limited!
This is also for Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge which this week was to incorporate something springy (as in the season) in our creation. Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
The one stamp set I used was Touch of Nature. This set screams spring to me. I made my patterned paper by stamping the fern from the set in Old Olive over a Naturals White background. I stamped the bird (2X) and branches with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with Copic markers. Cut out and popped up the second bird. Stamped and colored the butterfly, embossed it with clear EP, cut it out and bent up his wings. Pierced the one corner, then popped up the whole main panel. Added ribbon and brads to the corners to finish it.
Thanks, Wendy and Sharon, for the fun challenges! I think I followed all the rules!
TFL!
