This is what happens when you can't part with your favorite SU sets. I got these CD storage shelfs at Office Max when they had them on sale a while back. Spent a while adding a white label with the sets name to the side of each. Put them in A-Z order. Now I can find them faster.
Have one more CD shelf on the other side of the room closer to my work desk where I keep all the current sets with the same white labels. I have a removable red dot on them so I can keep them seperate. Makes clean up easier. When they retire, I simply remove the red dot and file them with the retired sets.

Ohhhhhh......I am going to show my dd and hubby this so they will not give me such a bad time. Have been trying to clean/organize my stamp room and they are helping/complaining about the amount of things I own.....Thank you so much for sharing this now I know that this is a "normal" concept to care so much for stamps......

So glad you posted this. My husband has NOTHING to complain about. I will add this to my favs just in case he complains; I have this to pull out of my file.
I love your filing system and the use of the red dots. I was wondering how to tell at a glance what stamps are retired and what is current. Thanks for the GREAT idea.
