Great sketch, Roxie! And very timely for me. I had started this card on Monday but not finished it. The layout I was using was so similar, all I had to do was lay one panel horizontal to become today's sketch (turned on its side).
I stamped the lg bg w/ the 3 colors of ink and several of the images. The horizontal panel uses only red ink and the kanji characters. The bigger vertical panel uses only the leaf green ink and the bamboo images. The main panel uses the pine and red inks. All panels are edged w/ a red marker and layered. The top panel has a dk green mat which I used the crimper on, a lt green mat and a red mat.
The chopsticks I made from toothpicks by cutting them down a little and rolling the ends over the kanji stamp. The embellishment in the upper left corner is a huge green brad that I attached on top of some string that I braided and ran my red marker over (it was white).
The lower right corner was done w/ a die that I cut one dk green and one lt green then layered them offset a little from each other. TFL
ETA: I forgot to mention that all the white panels I used the Nestie long rectangles on.

WOW! This is great. Great card for friends of ours in China. They are teaching the english language...hmm, I'll think of a way to case it using different images. I like your style. You know I have been waiting all day to see what you came up with. I love your work.
