...what an amazing gallery Bev has! I have never created a card with a dozen layers...until today, that is! Thanks for introducing us to this stamper Beth. I really liked the layout for this card. It is a large card, mine is 5.5" square. I changed the colors, papers, stamps, added the velvet blossom. I kept the layout, the stitching, paper piercing and the nested shapes.
I did use Basic Grey's Urban Prairie, I went with the pink ranges. My card base is GP white. I used SU pink pirouette for the solid mats and paper pierced the smaller edge. The charming House Mouse image is stamped with Memento tuxedo black and colored with Copics. I popped this Labels2 nested panel on foam mounting squares. The sentiment from Impression Obsession is inked with ColorBox black and embossed with clear ep. I used the circle nestabilities. As I couldn't fit it all within the cardbase, I decided to slip it in behind the mouse that is smelling very pretty! love that tiny raised up ear! I added a bit of pink lace behind the panel and then a tiny scalloped tab. I used a big, velvet pink blossom at the very top. Faux zig-zag rubon's finish the edge of my morning glory BG paper.
So please let me know what you think..that's quite alot of layers...not my style, but SO beautiful in the hands of our Featured Stamper, BevR. Enjoy your day of recognition here on SCS!

Do you know if there's a 12-step program for stamping? No, seriously, is there??

Wow Susan ... so out of your 'box' but what a fantastic job!!! Love everything about this card ... all the layers, colors, stitching, lace, flower and especially how you tucked the sentiment in behind the mouses ear! Very clever! AWESOME card my friend!!!

I think this is one of the BEST HM cards around. Even though they have some really cute images, I don't do mice - not even cute ones like this. It's just my personal adversion. Having said that, this is one adorable card. It's soooo cute. Love that sentiment also. You did an awesome job out of your safety zone. Love the layers, your stitching, piercing - all of it!
