Yes, I did use glossy paper. I got the cups from Starbucks. they were 9.95 each. I tried to find them at local $ stores, but no one had any that you could take the paper out of. These are designed to do that. Starbucks has a website where you can download patterns to put inside the cup. You can even do something with pictures, too. Thanks for the comments.

i love your cups i have 4 right now f/ starbucks i was gettting ready to decorate i think i will have to case you...did you use a brayer or sponge? what ink colors did you use for the in full bloom cup...thanks so much you did a great job...

kjkleslie, I stamped images in black using IFB and Wonderful Wings. Then I colored areas with the metallic pencils. I then used sponges with Night of Navy and Real Red (ladybugs only). Thanks again everyone for the positive feedback.

I just stumbled accross this today and had to post a comment to say how nice they are! I was looking for a gift idea for my sons teacher and I think I may try this one! She's an avid coffee drinker too! I may even add a gift cert. or a trial sided coffee! Thanks for the great insperation!!

I just recently joined this site and I just wanted to say thanks for all the info. and great ideas to all of you. I actually saw your tumblers and went to the $ store and found some and can't wait to try this idea. Keep up the good stampin.
