Here's another NEW 2009 Spring/Summer Release from Whipper Snapper. His name is Otto the Owl, and he is my version of a great-horned owl. Inside: "You did! Congratulations, Graduate!"
Otto was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with Gamsol using paper stumps. The tree branches are cut out-of-the-box to fit the sketch (plus I like that look). His chest has Liquid Applique puffed up for a soft feathered look, and various areas are highlighted with a white gel pen. The sentiment is computer generated.
Paper: Basic Black, white, BasicGrey Urban Prairie 6x6 Paper Pad
Accessories: Prismacolor pencils, Gamsol, stumps, black artist's pen, 1 1/4" circle punch, Nestabilities circle and scalloped circle, Signo white gel pen, paper snips, Liquid Applique
Techniques: Gamsol Magic, magic color pencil, faux stitching, out-of-the-box

Shellie, you did it again... this is amazing! You know just how to combine dp's without it looking too busy. Your coloring is wonderful and has so much depth. Love the liquid applique on the owl's belly. Overall a fabulous card!
