This is the inside of a card I made for my dad. HeÂ’s really sick and in the hospital, again.
A few months ago he was diagnosed with AML leukemia, which is pretty aggressive. Now, he is in the hospital with pneumonia which he just canÂ’t shake.
I have made lots of masculine cards, but today I wanted something bright and cheery to take with me while I sit with him at the hospital. So, I came up with this little guy
The image is from Gina K and my sentiment is from some dollar bin somewhere. My DP is from My MindÂ’s Eye. I added the rickrack, which I hardly ever use, but I didnÂ’t want a bunch of ribbon on this card.
My layout is from a SCS challenge (SC192) which just happened to work really well with this card.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
