Hmm, I just spent several minutes describing the harrowing journey of creating this card, my Explorer froze up and I lost the upload! Just another pothole in the road, during a blizzard!
More briefly: I didn't have the correct materials when I started this card for Monday's technique challenge, and ended up with bits of paper and embossing powder all over the place!
Wednesday, I decided to try and salvage my efforts for the sketch challenge, but using glue for the mosaic pieces with veramarker in-between was not the perfect solution. I was too tired to finish!
Tonight, I added Stickles to the designer paper, streaking it over the brushstokes in the pattern. A huge glob plopped out on my mosaic! Grr. The Stickles doesn't even show up in the photo.
The original inspiration was from last weekend's VSN mini, the callenge to showcase something you love to collect, mine was seashells, I pulled out this paper but didn't get to it. The sea star and scallop are cut out from the dp and embossed with clear ep.
Thanks for letting me ramble on . . . every day is a winding road, may yours be smooth and dry!

Well, for all the detours you had to make, you still ended up at a fabulous destination! I love the beach-meets-ocean feel of your mosaic, and the lovely shell accents. Great source of inspiration! I have some sand-dollars that my husband and I collected when we were dating! They're such a treasure to me!
