This is for the VSN mini challenge. My challenge is that I had no computer for seeing the information--I made the card "blind" based on an over-the-phone description. But the results may be more creative that way .
For this challenge, it was to find 4 somethings: new, blue, old and borrowed/gifted. They are as follows.
New: blue fabric from my neighbour (she dropped it off yesterday); Petal Pizazz set; stickles
Blue: fabric, inks, ribbon
Old: copper paper, blue brads
Borrowed: blue fabric and blue ribbon were both gifts (the ribbon was part of a flower bouquet given to me that I saved, just in case...). For the blue fabric, I cut off a piece and frayed the edges.
I love the look of this card in person, it really shines. I didn't know if the irridescent ribbon would look good (honestly, I'm not too into the "glittery and shiny" when it comes to cards)---but I think it adds a nice touch. And I haven't had much of a chance to play with my copper, and I love it!
Thanks for the inspiration!
