I made another card for today's LSC. It's just too fun thinking out our favorite things! If you were to come visit me at my house it wouldn't take long to see that I LOVE Chickadees! I have them in pictures on the walls, figurines, even some dishes! So... although my first card represented many of my favorite things, this one is a more woodsy card and one that makes me think of Maine, where we call home, even though we now live in NC.
The image stamp is from Great Impressions, and I love the whimsical fluffed up look of this chickadee. I hand drew in pines on one side to help the branch look like it came from somewhere. (LOL). The sentiment is from Sweet N Sassy. The card is really simple and only uses one prima and one brad as adornments. I colored the image with Prisma Pencils and Gamsol. I lightly sponged So Saffron Pastels around my image.
Thanks for looking, and thanks again Judy for this super fun challenge! Have a great day!!!

This is so cute. I love watching the chickadees in our yard. Along with the titmice, nuthatches, squirrels and chipmunks, we have quite a circus back there. Your coloring is wonderful - he looks so real. tfs

I love how pretty your little chickadee looks. When we were in GA at my mother in law's house, she and I sat and watched the cardinals and chickadees that came to her feeder. Did I send you the pictures of the bald eagles that I took this week? I think birds are some of God's prettiest creations.

Just lovely. Along with cardinals, chickadees (and hummingbirds) are some of the birds we don't have here that I would most like to see. And I love the woodland feel to the card - when I still lived at home I loved going running in the woods with the dogs.
