this is for three challenges, LSC200-no more christmas cards, and IC160-MacKinzie-Childs inspiration piece.
and sharon's challenge (ssnotime67) new toys!
I bought myself some new christmas toys... magnolia stamps, this looks hard, but is very easy.. just stamp, color, cutout.. done...
I chose this picture frame as my inspiration.
I used a square shadow stamp to make the checks, thus the mosaic look, not an even checker board look. the green with gold trim matches their frame inside..
I used an exacto knife to make little slits on each side of the sache across the dress to pull ribbon through then tied my own ribbon bow at the back of her dress... I really like that it turned out.
the large leaves with the rose on the bottom are from flourishes new roses set.
the dress is paper pieced and shaded with gamsol/prisma pencils.
little tilda and the roses are mounted up.
hope you like it.
thanks for taking a look today!!

Wow! I love this!!! Love the mosaic look instead of a perfectly lined up check... and love your image, the coloring and the pretty colors used! Awesome!

Looks alittle time consuming, but I am amazed at the way it turned out! I would have thought you used DP, but you actually stamped the background. The ribbon around the dress is way cute! TFS!

Judy, what fabulous coloring and detail on this sweet and pretty card! I especially love how you did the ribbon on her dress. I've asked DH for some Magnolia stamps for my BD; I hope he comes through with them as I think they are just the sweetest images.
