Happy Friday everyone! I seem to be on a butterfly kick. Could I be anxious for Spring already?!!!
I needed another thank you card for a special someone whose favorite color is blue ... 3 guesses who that might be! LOL
The stunning shimmery light blue paper is from Peggy. The photo does not do the paper justice as it is just gorgeous! Thank you, Peggy! (You can check out Peggy's wonderful gallery here: marilynprestonn's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers)
I clear embossed the Paisley bg onto navy blue for one panel and also clear embossed the butterfly onto navy blue card stock. Cut out the butterfly and painted it with pearlescent watercolor paints (they were still on my desk from the last butterfly card!). Added a couple of rhinestone brads and am calling it a card.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Beautiful card! I wish I could see it in real life because I bet it looks even better. I need to send a thank you card to my brother-in-law and I just might have to CASE this one. It has a nice, masculine look to it. TFS

Oh wow, is she ever going to love this one, Divine Ms M! Her favorite color is blue, you know! Just had to add that! Your card has such wonderfully clean lines and is so unencumbered with embellishments. It doesnt need any; it's that gorgeous.
