Day 2 of the Holiday Challenge Extravaganza and today was all about being square. When I read the challenge, I immediately thought about a painting we have hanging in our home and used it as my inspiration for this challenge.
The main image was stamped once using Stampin' Write markers and then stamped again with Craft Vanilla. I applied Clear EP to the craft vanilla and embossed the image so that I could sponge the background.
More sponging on the rest of the card, with some more Clear EP to bring out the flourishes in the corners.
By far the most detailed/complicated card I've tried to do.

I looked at your gallery after figuring out you were a husband!! I recognize a few that I admired when posted. So are you having fun doing this? I hope so. Can't wait to show my boyfriend this!! He can't understand how I am so addicted to this stuff.

Wow, that card is beautiful (and I love the painting, too). I think what I love the most is that you were inspired by a work of art to make another work of art! Well done!
