This is sort of a card for LSC199. I nearly didn't upload it, but I've made it, so here it is for what it's worth.
At least 3/4 blue, only one non-paper embellishment allowed.
I stamped Lovely as a Tree with Versamark on blue card and embossed with white EP. Then I rounded 3 of the corners and layered it up onto some Bazzill Bling that was on my desk. As the Bazzill was too small to make a full mat, I just offset it. I went round the edge of the white mat layer with a little snowflake stamp and a blue marker. The blue stamped layer is edged with a clear Sakura Stardust pen, and the white layer has blue marker and then the Stardust pen. I added 1 silver snap, and layered it up onto a metallic shimmery silver card base. Since I couldn't use anything more in the blank corners that wasn't paper, I just added a bit of freehand paper piercing to fill in the blank spaces. I am so grateful to Jami (sgtStamper) for mentioning that a cork tile makes a great mat for paper piercing. Sure beats my old mouse mat. Only thing is, a cork tile IS my mouse mat, so I need to go out to the shed and cut a small tile to use just for piercing.
That was it. I think I had too many other things to do today, but I didn't get any cards made yesterday, only a quilled snowflake for the top of the tree, so I wanted to do something this evening.
