I found out the hard way that re-inkers have a shelf life. My first two attempts at water coloring didn't go so well due to the ink not cooperating - I used the leftover ink in the lid - didn't know how long it had been there - oops (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).
Stamped the Siberian Iris (from Flourishes) with Black StazOn and water colored using Watercolor Crayons. Created my own background image by using one of the flourish stamps from this same set.
The color washed out a bit in the picture - but it is a bit darker in real life.

Wowzers!!! That is as beautiful as those in my garden come May. I'm happy that you stuck with it and did this card...just a beautiful application of watercoloring...like you background as well.
