I was sitting there catching up on my bookwork knowing I didn't have time or an idea for a card today. Well, there sat the left over tags from yesterday. A thought that I read on little Markie's card,of markie's mom, stuck in my head. He was saving his tags to use later. Ahhhhh.....use the left over tags! SO, I pushed the bookwork aside for a short break and used my left over tags for today challenge........details.....
Sponged my tags with today's colors...baja breeze, kiwi kisses, basic gray, not quite navy. Punched a hole in the tops, put in a brad and spread them out. Then doodled the edges.
For my bg panel, I used the opening from the punched tag and sponged the colors randomly on white cs. Doodled the panel edges.
Stamped the mail box from CDstamps - deer wishes set, colored with re-inkers cut out with the stamp punch. Sponged and doodled edges. On another tag I wrote the sentiment, sponged and doodled edges.
Made the flag on the mail box longer so my tag thingy is now the mailbox "you've got mail" flag. Popped up the sentiment after adding a ribbon to it. Well, hope you like it, now it's back to the books! LOL ........TFL :0)

Nutmeg, it's amazing what comes into your mind when you're supposed to be doing your paper work! Love those creative breaks you seem to take to come up with some really great ideas! ah, too sweet is this you've got mail. Speaking of mail, where's mine: Sis's was already checked off, but .... Just kidding, girl. Love your card today. That creative juice was really where it need to be today! Hey, are you going to the Rose Bowl parade: I hear Roseville is having all kinds of buses down to Pasadena. I know you're not a Roseville resident, but just wondering if you were going to see Roseville celebrate its 100th birday. Been cold out there too, I see. I follow my beloved sacramento's weather everyday!

Thanks so much for your great description. I love to see how other stampers come up with great designs.
I especially like what you did with the background. And your doodling is fantastic.
