Well the curtains are closing on the lighting store where I work, I could have made a dark and gloomy card , but I am choosing to keep my lamps shining brightly, so to speak, and view this time of impending unemplayment as an opportunity to reinvent myself!
Inspired by this card of One4Joy's drapes...O4J by One4Joy at Splitcoaststampers I created my card from ribbon scraps left from a failed attempt to make a ribbon blossom. (it turned out to be a ribbon CLUMP). I used this chandelier stamp that Susan sent me and scraps of paper that are strewn all over my dining room table! Thanks for looking and have a great Friday!

Well, that answers my question about your job, Nancy. Gee. I am so sorry to hear that, but it sounds like you have a positive attitude, which will help get you through this time. You're in my thoughts and prayers, friend.
I have to give you credit for even trying one of those ribbon blossom thingies; it sounded too complicated to me! ha! Great way to recycle the ribbon, and I love the window/lighting theme that reflects the changes in your life. Like Vicky wrote, one door closes, but another one opens!
