For the fabulous Tie One On challenge. It isn't my favorite layout, but I made it all from stuff I already had cut.
I made a bow from patterned paper. This is really simple: 1) cut the strip of paper 2x as long as you want your bow to be, 2) attach a small piece of Sticky Strip to the inside of one end, remove the backing, and line up the edges, 3) pinch the center of the bow, 4) wrap the thin strip around the center and adhere to the back with SS or a glue dot.
I've done this bow with all ribbon, and with a combination of ribbon and paper. I find that the paper is very forgiving, and is kind to newbies.
